I’m having this same issue with the lights in my motorhome, they was working fine than the power converter went bad & I had to replace the converter & ever since then the lights don’t work I still haven’t had time to look into it yet, these motorhome are so complicated & overwhelming it’s a lot to learn that’s for sure you can’t just buy one & use it there’s more to it than that, that’s why it’s good to ask the seller how everything works because if you don’t than it’s a big Learning curve & you’ll probably never figure everything out, I’ve owned mine for about 3 years now & I still don’t know how everything works in the damn thing, I need to maybe pay someone to walk me thru all the electrical & controls, I’ve owned my Class A for 3 years & never used it it’s just been sitting on my property I bought a cover for it to keep it out of the elements because these thing will fall apart if you leave it out in the rain for years!

Yapping dogs are very annoying and so is the attitude towards the complaint. If the complainant broke any law they should be brought to account, of course, but I would imagine those dogs had been a problem all over the place and someone was merely checking out the situation at your RV more closely, maybe even coming to visit you. So stop with the whining and be thankful that you have become a better citizen.

Practical without bluff

Never, never, never use a higher amp fuse for troubleshooting! Good way to damage other things, such as your converter. Also a good way to start a fire. Once you found the faulty circuit (light), stop trying any other things. Turn of the power and pull down the light fixture and check for faulty wiring (corrosion, loose/broken connection/bad switch). The fact that the fuse blows so quickly you probably have a short to ground.

I figured from the start their was an issue with the light fixture itself, by the way you were explaining it. On an RV that old, change out all the fixtures with LED fixtures. My RV was 14 years old when I bought it. I changed mine, except 2 that I very seldom use and I'm not disappointed. I had 12 lights to change. The package I bought only came in a 10-pack. #1 Never use a higher amp fuse to test for issues. #2 If you leave the switch on too long, it can cause the wires to get hot and could possibly melt inside the walls and cause a fire. Depending on the issue, depends on how long it will take the wires to heat up.

Don't try to "pop" your back if you have an injury like you described. It's probably spondylolisthesis which can worsen with forced pressure to "pop" your spine. Unless you like pain, then do what you want

I was going to say something mean....but you handled the problem and ultimately solved it. You did the right thing for yourself and those around you and that is what matters.

This isn't the right way to fix a leaking RV window, it's just a band-aid on the outside. But also I think he tapes the bottom edge, which is where water is supposed to drain out (including the weep holes), and that bottom edge needs to be allowed to drain out. The proper way is to pull out the window and replace the seal around the perimeter of it with butyl tape and then caulk the top and sides. There are other videos that show how to do that.

My problem was the batteries are damaged. I used the auxiliary power and it worked. Thanks for the video though.
